Abstract
This edited volume deepens the discussion on the validation and recognition of non-formal and informal learning in higher education roughly three years after the Austrian 2021 higher-education law amendment. It covers experiences and transformation processes at universities, challenges related to knowledge assessment, quality assurance, and inequality, and good practices from vocational and adult education.
